Calls with more than one leg create more than one file. In the following example, an external inbound call (A number) to your ST+ number (B number) which is then transferred (via an assisted transfer) to another external number (C number) will be recorded in two separate files as follows:

File 1: all audio between A and B up to the point that the B calls C, then all audio between A and C once B transfers A to C. Note that music is hold (if your PBX is configured to play music on hold) is heard whilst the second leg of the call (B calling C) in instantiated and takes place. Note that after the transfer the call is between two external ‘off net’ numbers (A and C) yet is still recorded. This file will be stored under the B number DDI folder in the format: YYYYMMDDHHMMSS-inbound-Anumber-Bnumber-1, e.g. 20140429110310-inbound-01727765747-03333444791-1.

File 2: all audio between B and C from the point that the B calls C, then all audio between A and C once B transfers A to C. Note that after the transfer the call is between two external ‘off net’ numbers (A and C) yet is still recorded. This file will be stored under the B number DDI folder (or the folder of the presented number) in the format: YYYYMMDDHHMMSS-outbound-Bnumber-Cnumber-1, e.g. 20140429110338-outbound-08450000500-07970834226-1)
