Calls can be recorded by linking the client account to a Box account , then enabling call recording. This must be done before you can record calls. Please refer to Linking SIP Trunk Plus To A Box™ Account

Calls can be recorded for individual specified numbers / DDI’s or for all number associated with (assigned to) a trunk.

To enable call recording for a number / DDI, trunk (including ‘SIP Client’, ‘Hosted Telephony’ and ‘Mobile Account’ trunks), first go to the relevant client account.

1 Enabling call recording for specified numbers / DDI’s

(a) Press the 'Numbers' tab. Any numbers that don’t have Call Recording enabled will be unchecked under the 'Call Recording' column.


(b) To enable Call Recording for a number, highlight a number by pressing on one of its cells, then right-click and select 'Edit Number'.


(c) In the window that appears, check the box next to 'Call Recording' and then press on the 'Save' button.


(d) The checkbox under the 'Call Recording' column should now be checked for that number.



2 Enabling Call Recording for Trunks(a) Press on the 'SIP Accounts' tab and select 'Trunks' from the drop-down list. Trunks that don’t have Call Recording enabled will be unchecked under the 'Call Recording' column.


(b) To enable Call Recording for a Trunk, highlight the Trunk by pressing on it, then right-click and select 'Edit trunk'.


(c) In the window that appears, check the box next to 'Call Recording' and then press on the 'Save' button.


(d) The checkbox under the 'Call Recording' column should now be checked for that Trunk.


3 Enabling Call Recording for Sip Clients

(a) Press on the 'SIP Accounts”'tab and select 'SIP Clients' from the drop-down list. Any SIP Clients that don’t have 'Call Recording' enabled will be unchecked under the 'Call Recording' column.


(b) To enable 'Call Recording' for a SIP Client, highlight a SIP Client by pressing on one of its cells, then right-click and select 'Edit'.


(c) In the window that appears, check the box next to 'Call Recording' and then press on the 'Save' button.


(d) The checkbox under the 'Call Recording' column should now be checked for the particular SIP Client.
